Our terms
-
Eligibility: Available to dogs attending Westford Co. Golden Grove daycare for the first time. Limited to one complimentary suitability day per dog, subject to availability and advance booking.
Purpose: The complimentary day allows our team to assess your dog’s comfort and suitability for group daycare. It is intended for owners considering ongoing daycare visits if their dog is suitable.
Agreement and waiver: Before attendance, owners must read, agree to and sign our Daycare & Grooming Agreement and Waiver. These promotional terms apply in conjunction with that agreement and do not replace it. A complimentary booking does not exempt owners from its requirements.
Entry requirements: All registration forms and current vaccination records must be provided before attendance. Dogs must meet the health, vaccination, parasite prevention, desexing and behavioural requirements outlined in the agreement. Owners must disclose all relevant medical conditions and behavioural concerns.
Arrival and collection: Please arrive no later than 7:30am to allow your dog to settle gradually. Collection must occur by 6:30pm, unless earlier collection is requested by our team.
Assessment and attendance: A full day of attendance is not guaranteed. Our team may modify activities, separate your dog from the group or end the session early based on your dog’s behaviour, stress levels, health or wellbeing.
Immediate pickup: We may require your dog to be collected immediately if continued attendance becomes unsafe for your dog, other dogs or staff, or if your dog becomes unwell or significantly distressed. Owners must remain contactable throughout the session and be available to collect their dog, or arrange collection by an authorised person, immediately upon request.
Authority to act on your behalf: As authorised under the signed agreement, our team may take reasonable steps on your behalf to protect your dog’s health, safety and welfare. This may include separation, first aid, emergency relocation or transportation. If your dog requires veterinary attention and you cannot be contacted, we may arrange veterinary care and authorise treatment recommended by the attending veterinarian, in accordance with the agreement.
Future attendance: Completing the complimentary day does not guarantee acceptance into ongoing daycare. Our team will discuss the assessment outcome and any recommended attendance arrangements with you. Suitability may be reassessed during future visits.
Inclusions and exclusions: The offer covers the daycare suitability session only. Grooming, retail purchases and additional services agreed with you are charged separately. The 20% grooming discount for dogs attending paid daycare does not apply during the complimentary First Day Free visit.
Cancellation and other fees: The usual daycare cancellation, no-show and late collection policies in the signed agreement apply, including the $30 late cancellation or no-show fee and $15 per 10 minutes late collection fee after 6:30pm. The complimentary offer waives the daycare session price only.
No cash alternative: The offer cannot be exchanged for cash or credit towards another service.
Consumer rights: Nothing in these promotional terms or the accompanying agreement excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Receive 20% off the standard price of your dog’s grooming service at Westford Co. Golden Grove when the same dog attends a paid doggy daycare session on the same day.
This offer is not available with our Daycare Suitability First Day Free promotion. Grooming booked on your dog’s complimentary suitability day will be charged at the standard grooming price.
Both services must be booked in advance and are subject to availability and our usual daycare suitability requirements.
If the paid daycare booking is cancelled or your dog does not attend, the grooming discount will no longer apply.
The discount applies to the grooming service only and does not reduce daycare fees or retail purchases.
Our usual booking, cancellation and payment policies apply.
-
Health and suitability: Pets must be fit and healthy to receive grooming services. Grooming of elderly or infirm pets is undertaken at the owner’s risk, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Emergency veterinary care: In the event of an emergency during your absence, you authorise us to contact the nearest veterinarian and arrange treatment as necessary at your expense.
Pricing and payment: Grooming prices are based on your pet’s breed and the duration of the groom. Payment is required at or immediately after the time of service.
Nail trimming: Nail trimming is included unless the process is too stressful for your pet or too dangerous for the groomer.
Matting and coat removal: De-matting or complete coat removal will significantly alter your pet’s appearance. An additional de-matting or shave-down fee may apply. We will endeavour to advise you before starting, or as soon as possible afterwards.
Cancellations and rescheduling: At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment without a late notice fee. The groomer may waive this fee in circumstances beyond the client’s control.
Changes by us: We may cancel or reschedule a grooming appointment where necessary. Every effort will be made to arrange an alternative time convenient for both the client and groomer.
No-shows: An appointment is considered a no-show if the client does not attend at the scheduled time and has not contacted us to cancel or reschedule. We reserve the right to charge the full grooming fee for a no-show due to the loss of the reserved appointment.
Refusal of service: We reserve the right to refuse grooming services to a pet or client, subject to applicable law.
Agreement and waiver: Owners must read, agree to and sign our Daycare & Grooming Agreement and Waiver before their pet receives services. These grooming terms apply in conjunction with that agreement.
Consumer rights: Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or guarantees that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
